Ingredients:
Bitter gourd - 250 gms
Chili powder - 2 table spoons
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon
Garam Masala pow.- 1/2 tea spoon
oil to cook - 2 table spoon
1. Wash and cut bitter gourd into to thin rings.
2. Add all the other ingredients other than oil and mix and keep it aside for 15 mins.
3. Now add oil to the heated kadai and put the bitter gourd mixture and cook in low flame.
4. Stir occasionally and do not cover.
5. It takes atleast 15 - 20 mins for the bitter gourd to become crispy.
6. You can also this in microwave.
7. Instead of taking a kadai, take a microwave glass bowl add the bittergourd mixture and 1/2 spoon of oil and microwave them in high for 15 mins stirring in between occasionally.
