Cauliflower with peas

Ingredients:


Cauliflower            -  500 gms
Fresh peas             -  200 gms
Onion                    -  1 nos
Jeera powder         -  1 table spoon
Pepper powder      -  1 table spoon
Turmeric powder   -  1 tea spoon
Red chili powder   -  1/2 tea spoon
Mustard seeds      -  1 tea spoon
Black gram dal      -  1 tea spoon
Cooking oil           -  1 table spoon
Salt to taste


1.  Cut the cauliflower into small pieces.
2.  Finely chop onions.
3.  Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds and black gram dal.
4.  Once the mustard crackles and dal turns golden brown add the onions.
5.  After the onions turn transparent add the chopped cauliflowers and peas.
6.  Add salt, jeera powder, pepper powder, red chili powder and turmeric powder.
7.  Reduce the flame to low and cover the kadai.
8.  Keep stirring and cook till the vegetables are soft.
9.  Cauliflower with peas sabji ready.
