Alu Paneer ki Sabji

Ingredients:

Potatoes                     -  250 gms
Paneer                        -  200 gms
Onions                        -  2 nos
Tomatoes                    -  2 nos
Ginger                         -  1 inch
Garlic                          -  5 - 6 pearls
Coriander seeds          -  1 table spoon
Jeera                           -  1 tea spoon
Sugar                          -  1 tea spoon
Cooking oil                 -  1 table spoon
Fresh cream                -  2 table spoons
Turmeric powder        -  1 tea spoon
Red chili powder        -  1 tea spoon
Mustard seeds            -  1 table spoon
Salt to taste

1.  Wash, boil, peel and dice potatoes into 1 inch big pieces.
2.  If they are small ones boil and peel and keep potatoes aside.
3.  Dice the paneer into 1/2 long pieces.
4.  Grind together 1 onion, ginger, garlic, coriander seeds and jeera.
5.  Finely chop 1 onion and tomatoes.
6.  Heat oil in a kadai and add the mustard seeds.
7.  Wait till the mustards crackle and add the chopped onions.
8.  After the onions turns transparent add the ground masala.
9.  Stir fry till the oil splits and then add the tomatoes, salt, sugar, turmeric powder and red chili powder.
10.Keep stirring till the tomatoes are shapeless and soft, then add the potatoes and paneer pieces.
11.Add the cream and 1 cup of water, allow the mixture to boil for 6 - 8 mins and remove from stove.
12.Alu Paneer ki sabji ready.  Serve with roti, dosa or rice.
