Lady's Finger with Besan

Ingredients:

Lady's Finger       -  250 gms
Bengal gram flour -  2 table spoons(Besan)
Red chili powder  -  1 table spoon
Turmeric powder  -  1/2  tea spoon
Asafoitida             - 1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala       -  1 tea spoon
Cooking oil           -  4 table spoons
Salt to taste

1.  Wash and allow lady's finger to dry without water.
2.  Cut them into 1 inch long pieces.
3.  Mix add the ingredients to the lady's finger and keep it aside for 1/2 hr.
4.  The lady's finger will become slight watery and besan with stick to the vegetable nicely.
5.  Heat 4 table spoons of oil in a kadai and add the lady's finger mixture and cook in low flame.
6.  Stir occasionally so that the bengal gram flour and lady's finger cook nicely.
7.  After the vegetable is half cooked cover the kadai and cook for 5 mins.
8.  Remove the cover and cook again till the vegetable is done.
9.  Serve hot with rice/ roti or paratha.
