Lady's finger with curd

Ingredients:

Lady's Finger          -  250 gms
Curd                       -  100 gms
Bengal gram flour    -  1 table spoon(Besan)
Green chilies           -  2 nos
Red chilies              -  2 nos
Mustard seeds        -  1 table spoon
Black gram dal        -  1 tea spoon
Red chilies               -  2 nos
Coconut oil             -  1 table spoon
Curry leaves            -  a few leaves
Asafoitida                -  1/2 tea spoon
Turmeric powder     -  1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste

1.  Wash, wipe and cut lady's finger into small pieces.
2.  Finely chop green chilies.
3.  Heat oil in a thick bottomed kadai and add mustard seeds,finely broken red chilies and black gram dal.
4.  Once mustard crackles and the dal turns golden brown add the finely chopped lady's fingers, curry leaves and green chilies.
5.  Add salt, turmeric powder and asafoitida and stir fry till the lady's fingers are tender and done.
6.  Take the curd in a bowl and add the bengal gram flour and mix well.
7.  Add the mixture to the lady's finger and stir well.
8.  Allow it to boil and add water if necesary.  Remove from stove.
9.  Lady's finger with curd ready.  Serve with rice, roti or even kichadi.
