Corn Bhurji

Ingredients:

Corn kernels    -  1 cup
Onion              -  2 nos
Tomatoes         -  2 nos
Green chilies    -  2 nos
Ginger garlic paste -  1 table spoon
Curry leaves    -  a few leaves
Cooking oil      -  2 table spoons
Jeera                -  1 tea spoon
Mustard seeds  -  1 tea spoon
Red chili powder- 1 tea spoon
Salt to taste

1.  Finely chop onions, tomatoes and green chilies.
2.  Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds and jeera.
3.  After they crackle add ginger garlic pasts and stir cook till the raw smell goes off.
4.  Now add the chopped onions, green chilies and curry leaves.
5.  Stir fry till the onions turn transparent, then add the chopped tomatoes.
6.  Stir fry till the tomatoes shapeless and mixes with the onions.
7.  Take the corn kernels in a mixer and run the mixer just for a second till the corns coarsely ground.
8.  Now add this corn to the onion tomato mixture.  Also add salt, red chili powder and mix well.
9.  Allow it to cook for a few mins.  Corn cooks very quickly.  Keep stirring and remove from stove as soon as the corn is cooked.
10.Serve hot with ghee rice.
