Soya Chunks with Cream

Ingredients:

Soya chunk with Cream
Soya chunks                -  1 cup
Onions                        -  2 nos
Tomatoes                    -  2 nos
Ginger                         -  1/2 inch
Garlic                          -  4 - 6 pearls
Curd                            -  1 cup
Fresh cream                 -  1 cup
Fresh coriander            -  1 table spoon
Red chili powder           -  1 tea spoon
Jeera powder                -  1 tea spoon
Coriander powder         -  1 tea spoon
Garam Masala powder  -  1 tea spoon
Cooking oil                   -  3 table spoons
Jeera                             -  1 table spoon
Sugar                            -  1 tea spoon
Salt to taste

1.  Soak soya chunks in warm water along with salt for 1 hr.
2.  Squeeze the water from the soya chunks, wash twice and squeeze the water away.
3.  Grind together onions, garlic and ginger.
4.  Heat 1 1/2 table spoons of oil in a kadai and add the soya chunks and stir fry till the chunks become golden brown.
5.  Heat the balance oil in the kadai, add jeera, after it crackles, add the ground masala and stir cook till the oil splits.
6.  After the oil splits add the finely chopped tomatoes, stir cook till the tomatoes are shapeless.
7.  Add coriander powder, jeera powoder, red chili powder, salt, sugar and turmeric powder.
8.  Also add curd and fresh cream.
9.  Allow the mixture to boil and add the soya chunks.
10.Remove from stove and garnish with finely chopped fresh coriander.
11.Serve hot with rice or roti or paratha.
