Raw Banana Chops

Ingredients:

Raw Banana              -  3 - 4 nos
Turmeric powder       -  1 tea spoon
Red chili powder       -  2 tea spoons
Tamarind juice           -  2 table spoons
Asafoitida                  -  1 tea spoon
Cooking oil                -  5 - 6 table spoons
Salt to taste

1.  Peel and chop raw bananas into thick circular pieces.
2.  Mix the tamarind juice with salt, turmeric powder, asafoitida, red chili powder and add the chopped raw bananas to the mixture and mix thoroughly and keep it aside for 20 - 25 mins.
3.  Heat a tawa and place the raw banana piece on it and pour 1 tea spoon of oil.
4.  Allow it to cook in low place and turn it gently just like we turn dosa or paratha, pour another tea spoon of oil and allow it to cook.
5.  Cook all the banana pieces similarly.
6.  Serve with rice or parathas.
