Chili Potato

Ingredients:

Green chilies
Chili Alu
(Banana chilies)     -  200 gms
Potatoes               -  100 gms
Onion                   -  1 nos
Tomatoes              -  2 nos
Coriander powder -  1 tea spoon
Jeera powder        -  1 tea spoon
Red chili powder   -  1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder   -  1/2 tea spoon
Cooking oil           -  2 table spoons
Jaggery (Gud)       -  1/2 tea spoon
Salt to taste

1.  Finely chop onions and tomatoes.
2.  Cut the chilies into 1 inch long pieces, remove seeds.
3.  Cut potatoes into 1/2 inch thick pieces.
4.  Heat oil in a kadai, add the onions and stir fry till transparent.
5.  Add the finely chopped tomatoes, stir cook till the tomatoes becomes shapeless.
6.  Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder and gur.
7. Stir cook till the oil splits and then add the chili pieces and potato pieces.
8.  Add 1/2 cup of water and cook till the vegetables cook.
9.  Serve with rice or roti.
