Potato - 1 (Big)
Onion - 1 (Big)
Tomato - 1 (Big)
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tea spoon
Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon
Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon
Jeera - 1 tea spoon
Black gram dal - 1 tea spoon

Fresh Coriander - 1 table spoon finely chopped
Salt to taste
Cooking oil - 1 table spoon'
1. Chop cabbage finely.
2. Cut potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes.
3. Grate onions.
4. Cut tomato finely.
5. Heat oil in a kadai.
6. Add mustard, balck gram dal and jeera and once they crackle add the gratted onions.
7. Let the onion turn transparent and then add the ginger garlic paste(Optional)
8. After stirring for 1 min. add the chopped tomatoes.
9. Add salt, turmeric powder and red chili powder.
10.Once tomatoes are cooked add the chopped cabbage and potatoes.
11.Add 1/2 cup of water and cover the kadai.
12.Open and stir occasionally and cook till the vegetable is done.
13.Transfer the sabji into a dish and garnish with coriander.
14.Cabbage potato sabji ready.
