Mutter paneer

Ingredients:

Mutter (Peas)              -  250gms (shelled)
Paneer                        -  150 gms
Onions                        -  2 nos
Tomatoes                    -  2 nos
Garlic                          -  6 - 8 pearls
Ginger                         - 1 inch
Fresh cream                 -  2 table spoons
Turmeric powder          -  1/2 tea spoon
Red chili powder          -  1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala powder  -  1/2 tea spoon
Cooking oil                   -  2 table spoons
Sugar                            -  1/2 tea spoon
Jeera                            -  1 tea spoon
Cooking oil                   -  1 table spoon
Salt to taste

1.  Grind onion, ginger, garlic and tomatoes into a thick paste.
2.  Heat oil in a kadai and add jeera.  Once it crackles add the ground paste.
3.  Keep stirring till the oil splits out.
4.  Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and sugar.
5.  Keep stirring for 1 min.
6.  Add the shelled peas and diced paneer.
7.  Again stir for 2 mins.
8.  Add the fresh cream and if necessary water and allow it to boil till peas is cooked.
9.  You can even pressure cook the above.
10.If fresh cream is not available add 1 cup of milk instead.
11.Once the peas is cooked mutter paneer ready.
