Aalu Dham

Ingredients:

Potatoes                -  250 gms
Onions                  -  3 nos 250 gms
Tomatoes              -  3 nos
Ginger                   -  1 nch
Garlic                     -  6 pearls
Mustard                 -  1 table spoon
Atta                       -  2 table spoons
Coriander powder  -  1 tea spoon
Jeera powder         -  1 tea spoon
Red chili powder    -  1 tea spoon
Garam masala        -  1 tea spoon
Sugar                     -  1/2 tea spoon
Cooking oil            -  4 table spoon
Coriander               -  2 table spoons(finely chopped)
Salt to taste

1.  Boil potatoes and peel it.
2.  Grind onions, tomatoes, ginger and garlic and make a paste.
3.  Heat oil in kadai and add mustard.
4.  Add the ground paste stir.
5.  Once the oil splits add salt, coriander powder, jeera powder, red chili powder, garam masala and sugar.
6.  After mixing it thoroughly add the peeled potatoes.
7.  Add 1/2 cup of water.
8.  Now take the wheat flour in a bowl and make a thick dough.
9.  Close the kadai with a lid and seal the kadai and lid with the dough.
10. Keep the stove in low flame and cook for 1/2 hour.
11.Remove from stove and remove the atta seal.
12.Garnish with coriander and serve.
13.Aalu Dham ready.  Serve hot with roti or poori or paratha or even rice.
