Potato Vadakkal

Ingredients:

Potato                -  250 gms
Red chili powder-  1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder-  1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala     -  1 tea spoon
Mustard seeds     -  1 tea spoon
Black gram dal    -  1 tea spoon
Cooking oil         -  3 table spoon
Salt to taste

1.  Wash and dice potatoes.
2.  Heat oil in a kadai and add the mustard seeds and black gram dal.
3.  Once mustard crackles and black gram dal turns brown add the chopped potatoes.
4.  Add the rest of the ingredients and stir and mix well.
5.  Keep in low flame and let it cook with out cover.
6  Once the edges start turning brown stir and remove from stove.
7.  Potato fried sabji ready.
