Ingredients:
Colocasia(Seppankizhangu) - 500 gms
Red chili powder - 2 table spoon
Turmeric powder - 1 tablespoon
Asafoitida - 1/2 tea spoon
Cooking oil - 5 -6 table spoons
salt to taste
1. Boil seppankizhangu and peel and cut it into 1/2 inch long pieces.
2. Take a small bowl and mix the turmeric powder, red chili powder, asafoitida and salt.
3. Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the boiled seppankizhangu till it turns golden brown.
4. Now drain the oil and add the mixed dry masala.
5. Stir well till the masala is spread over all the seppankizhangu.
6. Remove from stove. Colocasia fry (Seppankizhangu fry) ready.
